Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief The Movie

The next upcoming fantasy movie, based from a series of adventure and fantasy books, Percy Jackson & the Olympians, authored by Rick Riordan. Will be released on 12 February 2010 in USA, this movie is directed by Chris Columbus. Staring with Rosario Dawson, Logan Lerman, and also the ex-James Bond, Pierce Brosnan.

Take setting on 21st century, but the gods of Mount Olympus and assorted monsters have walked out of the pages of high school student Percy Jackson's Greek mythology texts and into his life. And they're not happy: Zeus' lightning bolt has been stolen, and Percy is the prime suspect. Even more troubling is the sudden disappearance of Percy's mother. As Percy finds himself caught between angry and battling gods, he and his friends embark on a cross-country adventure to catch the true lightning thief, save Percy's mom, and unravel a mystery more powerful than the gods themselves.


The Lightning Thief is the first series of Percy Jackson & the Olympians, this book was released on June 28, 2005. There are four next series, the second series, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters is scheduled for release in 2012.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs The Movie

One more animation movie that was produced by Sony Pictures Animation, now time taken from the children's book with the same name. Was release on September 18, 2009, this movie features the voices of Bill Hader, Anna Faris, Bruce Campbell, James Caan, Bobb'e J. Thompson, Andy Samberg, Mr. T, Benjamin Bratt, Neil Patrick Harris, Al Roker, Lauren Graham, and Will Forte. It was written and directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, who both are best known for the animated TV series Clone High.



The story began with the closing of The Baby Brent Sardine cannery in the town of Swallowfalls. This closing makes the town less of food source and weakening the economy has closed for good. And there is Flint Lockwood (Bill Hader), someone who always invents some of new machine such as Spray-On Shoes, the Remote Control Television, Flying Car, and Ratbirds - has ended in nothing but disaster. He wants to help everybody in Swallowfalls with invent some machine that converges water molecules to create food. After some failed and problems, his machine is works and create a rain of food. Ice cream, spaghetti, burger. But later the machine on trouble and the food that was created become large size.

This movie so unique because make children's fantasy and dreams come true. I always imagined about the rain of foods, so I can eat any foods that I wanted. Let see when the tornado of spaghetti dropped on people, the sandwich stick on Eiffel or the giant corn roll in big wall in china.
